Welcome,
Nice to meet you!
My name is Christina, I am an Austrian designer living abroad. I sincerely love home for its mountains and desserts, but a deep Fern-weh (an urge so great to go away and discover the world) took me to Copenhagen first in 2016, to study design & typography and learn from the danish way of life. Then in March 2020 it took me a bit further away, to Montréal where I'm aiming to get new angles on my profession and set foot as a visual designer.
My education in design and communication is broad ranging, I work interdisciplinary and most enjoy projects that come from a sustainable mindset and have social or cultural value. That said, I also celebrate projects with the resources to create beautifully crafted and manufactured products that deserve a special place on the shelf.
In any case, I aim for holistic and mindful design solutions that focus on individual needs and derive from a strong concept.
When I am not working, I am most likely found linocutting, rearranging kitchen utilities to a point where no one can find anything anymore or sewing myself a new piece of clothing from an old bed sheet or curtain.
